It was interesting morning to say the least. It started out with only a few scattered showers but ended up with Severe Thunderstorms all morning. 35 to 40mph winds with lots of lightening. Definitely not ideal for fishing! We did hook a Sailfish during the storm. We ended up cutting are trip short and slowly headed back in. Due to the winds and rough seas we were only able to travel about 10kt. We did manage to catch a few fish along with the catch and release of a Sailfish.
