Feb. 18, 2010:Wahoo

We had a beautiful day with light winds and high hopes of catching Bluefins. We had a few other boats out with good coverage. We found the Bluefins but unfortunately they were not eating. You could see the Bluefins on top, we would mark the fish but they would not bite. We did have a few nice Wahoo bites. Hopefully next time the fish will be hungry.

Bluefin Tuna

The commercial season on Bluefin just finished up. We've has some real good fishing with most of the Bluefins being in the 80 inch range. It's been some world class fishing with the Bluefin's.

Winter Season

The winter season is a great time to go fishing here on the Outer Banks. Some of the Tuna Fishing can be excellent with Bluefin and Yellowfin.
