Winter Season

The winter season is a great time to go fishing here on the Outer Banks. Some of the Tuna Fishing can be excellent with Bluefin and Yellowfin.

We have had two weeks of bad weather. This is the picture from today, the wind has been gusting up to 50 miles an hour. Just another nor'easter. Maybe one day next week we will be able to get out fishing again.

2011 Fall Fishing

We're Back! Back at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center that is! Hurricane Irene did a number on the marina but they managed to get her back up and running within a month. Fall is a great time to experience the Outer Banks! You don't have to deal with crowds of people on the beach and the weather is perfect for fishing. Call today to book your Fall Fishing trip! Went out with the Richmond Group today. We had a nice catch of Yellow and Blackfin Tuna's. It was nice to go out minus the rain but that all changed when we got back home that afternoon.

Finally got out after a three day Blow. Took a little while to find the fish this morning but once we did the fishing was pretty good. Thanks to the group from WV!

Donald Losstron and his group had a great day of fishing. They wanted to catch some meat today so we caught a little bit of everything "Meat Slam." Blackfin Tunas, Dolphin and Wahoo.

9/10/11: Limit of Dolphin & Blackfin Tuna

James West and his group were hoping to catch some big Tuna's but the only Tuna's around were Balckfin. We had a great catch of Dolphin and brought home our limit.

9/3/11: Spanish & Blue

Went out for a Half Day of Fishing. Had some young anglers aboard that did a great job reeling in Spanish Mackeral and Blue Fish.
